A Swim Buddy keeps you visible to most boaters and watercraft, as well as to anyone monitoring your swim from nearby, and provides a floating rest spot if needed. Knowing that you will be seen allows you to relax more, concentrate more on your swimming, and increase your enjoyment of openwater water swimming. It also provides a waterproof pouch for safekeeping of your phone, keys, and other things with you while you're swimming.

SwimBuddy has contributed three of their product to have for open water member usage. Club members can purchase their own with a 20% discount code from a club board member.

I always know that if I'm swimming with my SwimBuddy, somebody can see me because it really is hard to see people out there if you don't have something visible like this.

What’s a little rain when competing in a race as fun, well organized and challenging as this one? Thank you Steam Donkey and all your volunteers for an incredible experience. I loved the energy and enthusiasm of the volunteers along the trails and the fabulous wood medals. Can’t wait for next year!
