The Comox Valley Triathlon Club provides support and encouragement in a positive environment for our members to achieve their highest personal goals in the sport, whether it’s to improve fitness, finish their first event, or to compete internationally. Our club motto is ‘Fun with Fitness’ and we work hard to incorporate this into all aspects of training and competition - and includes getting together for social events.
Why would you consider triathlon? The swim, bike, and run sports complement each other. Then there is variation in choosing pool and open-water swims, cycling on the road or the trails, and running on paths or trails. When done in a proper training routine it lends itself to cross-training which avoids repetitive stress injuries and boredom as compared to exercising and training for one sport.
